Testimonials
Since she began attending your class back in December 2017, Denise has shown amazing improvement in her spelling. The improvement in 3 months is unbelievable. She now takes a much shorter time to learn the words. She got almost 90% correct in every spelling this year. Her performance in CA1 recently also shown marked improvement. For instance, in Booklet A, she scored 27/28 compared to 21/28 in the previous exam. In Editing, her previous score was 4/12 but this time, it was 11/12! She had never been successful in this area since P5. This has done wonders with Denise’s self-esteem. She is starting to believe that she has the capability to do well - with effective guidance and support. This is so very encouraging for her. Thank you so much for your guidance and patience in teaching Denise. You have made a huge positive difference in her life. 🙂
Denise’s Parent
Parent, SingaporeWe faced a lot of problems teaching our daughter English at home. Initially, we thought it was an insufficient effort on her part. Only later did we realise that she might be dyslexic when we spoke with other parents facing the same difficulties with their child. After the positive diagnosis, we came to understand that she can't be taught using the conventional ways we are used to as she is "wired" differently. We decided to send her to Cognitive Connections to help her cope with her learning difficulties. In just three short months, we have seen a tremendous improvement in her English. Not only is she getting better with her spelling, she is also showing more confidence when she attempts to spell words that she had not learnt before. After every lesson, she would enthusiastically share what Jennifer had taught her with us. We know she has a very long and arduous journey in front of her, and we are very glad to have Jennifer help her with her first steps.
